Seiko Succeed Internal Free-Form™ progressive lenses are the results of years of scientific research and development.
: The Seiko Succeed Internal Free-Form™ design places the progressive surface on the backside of the lens. This creates wider fields of vision (distance, intermediate and near) with less distortion and greater image stability than conventional PAL designs.
: With Seiko Succeed Internal Free-Form™ there is total control of off-center astigmatism and power error through aspheric compensation for each Rx. This means for each sphere, cylinder, axis and add power, the patient receives a truly customized lens with an exact near, intermediate and distance Rx.
: Conventional PAL designs utilize a single base curve to cover a wide range of powers, resulting in compensated vision, especially in the near zone. With Seiko Succeed Internal Free-Form™, aspheric compensation is customized for all visual areas, resulting in millions of optically precise combinations.
: The Supercede and Supercede Ws feature Seiko's latest advancement in "internal Freeform™" PAL's. The Supercede and The Supercede Ws implement (AAC) advanced aspheric compensation. This more complex Freeform™ position takes into account the Rx and frame design along with vertex distance and pantoscopic tilt to optomize the lens for the patient in the "as worn" wearing position. These new designs offer unsurpassed visual clarity in the reading and intermediate viewing zones.
:
Toric, progressive and aspherically compensated surfaces are fused on the back side of the lens so patient accommodation is automatic as each lens is truly prescription-specific. This accounts for a success rate over 99 percent.
Ws Free-Form™ PALs are ideal for seasoned progressive wearers. They are perfect for smaller frame designs, eliminate front curve distortion, significantly expand all visual zones and come in clear, Polarized and Transitions™, in CR39, Poly, Trivex, 1.60, and 1.67.
